About

In this course, students work in multidisciplinary teams and face practical challenges coming from international companies and corporations. At the end, the teams submit innovative proposals and working prototypes as a creative response to the real-world challenges they have faced.

Sugar began as a Stanford University initiative and has grown into a network of academic institutions around the world. It is currently offered to students in more than 16 different countries. Shenkar College is the only representative from Israel.

The course is based on Design Thinking, a human-centered methodological approach developed by Stanford University and IDEO. The course also offers management tools like Agile/DevOps and the Lean Startup approach, thus combining a global perspective with a multidisciplinary approach to innovation.
